Definitions

Bricolage - (in art or literature) construction or creation from a diverse range of available things. Something constructed or created from a diverse range of things.

Pastiche - An artistic work in a style that imitates that of another work, artist, or period.

Aesthetic - Concerned with beauty or the appreciation of beauty.

Relativism - The doctrine that knowledge, truth, and morality exist in relation to culture, society, or historical context, and are not absolute (changing).

Intent - A usually clearly formulated or planned intention.

Motivation - The act or process of giving someone a reason for doing something : the act or process of motivating someone. / The condition of being eager to act or work : the condition of being motivated.

Anti Global Cultural Narrative / Metanarrative - A narrative about narratives of historical meaning, experience or knowledge, which offers a society legitimation through the anticipated completion of a (as yet unrealized) master idea.


Modernism - A style or movement in the arts that aim to depart significantly from classical traditional forms. Believe you can assign value and some works are worthy or out attention.
